The Colonialist era: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) Predicted the state of affairs which we are facing today (more accurately: the Colonialist era):

Narrated Thawban: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish.

Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?

He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts.

Someone asked: What is wahn (weakness). Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him):

He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

    It is reported in Musnad Ahmad [17680] that Allah's Messenger said;

    17680
    حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا قُعُودًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَ بَشِيرٌ رَجُلًا يَكُفُّ حَدِيثَهُ فَجَاءَ أَبُو ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيُّ فَقَالَ يَا بَشِيرُ بْنَ سَعْدٍ أَتَحْفَظُ حَدِيثَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأُمَرَاءِ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ أَنَا أَحْفَظُ خُطْبَتَهُ فَجَلَسَ أَبُو ثَعْلَبَةَ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَكُونُ النُّبُوَّةُ فِيكُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ
    يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا عَاضًّا فَيَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ ثُمَّ سَكَتَ
    قَالَ حَبِيبٌ فَلَمَّا قَامَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَكَانَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ فِي صَحَابَتِهِ فَكَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أُذَكِّرُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنِّي أَرْجُو
    أَنْ يَكُونَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَعْنِي عُمَرَ بَعْدَ الْمُلْكِ الْعَاضِّ وَالْجَبْرِيَّةِ فَأُدْخِلَ كِتَابِي عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فَسُرَّ بِهِ وَأَعْجَبَهُ‏.

"The Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah (God) wills, then Allah would take it away. Then it will be (followed by) a Khilafah [caliphate] Rashida (rightly guided) according to the ways of the Prophethood. It will remain for as long as Allah wills, then Allah would take it away.

Afterwards there will be a hereditary leadership which will remain for as long as Allah wills, then He will lift it if He wishes.

Afterwards, there will be biting oppression, and it will last for as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it if He wishes.

Then there will be a Khilafah Rashida [Guided Caliphs] according to the ways of the Prophethood," then he kept silent..

The first 3 stages of our history passed as prophecised:

1 - Prophethood (Muhammad, peace be upon him).

2 - Rightly guided Caliphs [Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali],

3 - Hereditary Leadership [Umayyads, Abbasids, Ottomans etc],

4 - we are living in the present biting oppression stage (see the revolutions and conflicts in Syria and other Muslim nations against their oppressive rulers [Bashar al Asad etc]).

See the story of Zainab al Ghazali to see the biting oppression stage in the Muslim world.

5 - We await the last one. Since there are many political Islamic groups now, it seems the last stage of this Prophecy might come into effect within our lifetimes.

    Allah knows best.

“By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not come until…a man speaks to his whip or his shoe, and his thigh will tell him about what happened to his family after he left.”

“By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not come until…a man speaks to his whip or his shoe, and his thigh will tell him about what happened to his family after he left.” [Sunan al Tirmidhi]

It is narrated that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said (meaning):
“By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not come until…a man speaks to his whip or his shoe, and his thigh will tell him about what happened to his family after he left.” [Sunan al Tirmidhi]

This has led some people to postulate that this Hadith refers to cell-phones, because cell-phones are placed in a man’s pockets next to his thigh. People have further guessed that the “whips” were an attempt to describe wires (wired headset).

Why was the word whip used and not the word 'aerial' by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? Simply because he had to describe it to his companions in a way that they understood best.

Besides this, the arabic language is a descriptive language, where a word is derived from a description that it matches (see our QuranGEMS blog to understand this better). Since the whip describes an aerial the best, this is actually a good description.

Mongol Invasion: "...They will be of red faces, flat noses and small eyes; their faces will look like flat shields, and their shoes will be of hair.”

    Mongol Invasion

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The Hour will not be established till you fight with the Khudh and the Kirman from among the non-Arabs. They will be of red faces, flat noses and small eyes; their faces will look like flat shields, and their shoes will be of hair.”

Prophecy in Effect: The Mongols, under Hulagu Khan (grandson of Gengis Khan) invaded 659 years after Prophecised, he ransacked Baghdad, the capital city of the Muslims and the Abbasid dynasty in the year 1258 CE/659 AH (Hijri.) (see here) Muslims thereafter fought and continued to be defeated until the battle of Ayn Jaloot (1260CE/661 AH) whereafter the Mongol dynasty did not have its potent effect as it had before.
One of the primary distinguishing signs of the Mongols was the animal fur they wore. And their red, flat faces:

    mongol_red_flat_Face
^A picture of the emperor Kublai Khan with a red, wide (shield-like) face as Prophet Muhammed predicted.

^A picture of the emperor (Tomor Olziit Khaan) , one of the Mongols kings
    mongol_warrior_animal_hair

^A picture of a Mongol warrior , see the beaver fur on his head.

The Mongols came around 700 years after the death of God's Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him). They were extremely violent against the Muslims (so much so that this is one of the most famous conflicts known in Muslim history). The Mongols became Muslims later, but the harm they had caused as non Muslims was one of the reasons for the demise of the Muslim Golden Age.

So its no surprise that it was mentioned specifically by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) more than any other conflict as one of the signs of the approaching of Judgment Day.

PROPHECY: ” When the belly of Makkah will be cut open…and the buildings of the Holy City of Makkah will rise higher than its mountains..”

It is narrated by Abdullah bin Umar that the Messenger of God, Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When the belly of Makkah will be cut open and through it will be dug out river-like passages (i.e. tunnels) and the buildings of the Holy City of Makkah will rise higher than its mountains, when you observe these signs, then understand that the time of trial is near at hand.”
Abraj al Bait (meaning: the greatest Stellar of Makkah aka
Mecca Royal Hotel Clock Tower is taller than the mountains of Makkah)
Constructed in 2004 and opened in 2012.
See in the middle of the picture is the Ka'bah (the black cube),
compare it to the high Abraj al Bait.

The above hadith prophesying the state of Makkah towards the end of time reads more like an eyewitness account from an alien-like future. No concerted attempt has ever been made in Islamic history to claim that this hadith speaks for that time… until now when, much like a camera suddenly coming into focus, we can suddenly see what our beloved Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was warning us about. When taken together with several other ahadith, including the famous Hadith of Jibril which speaks of the coming of the Day of Judgment being when “you see poor, naked, barefoot shepherds of sheep and goats competing in constructing tall buildings”, one sees a distinct pattern. This is especially so when combined with the current list of vainglorious monuments to the hubris of the ruling classes over much of the Arab world:
    • World’s tallest skyscraper: Burj Al Khalifa, Dubai, UAE
    • World’s tallest clock tower: Abraj Al Bait Towers, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
    • World’s tallest lighthouse: Jeddah Light, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
    • World’s tallest minaret: Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca, Morocco.
    Makkah clock tower 2

“The Hour (of Judgment Day) will not approach until the desert Arab shepherds compete with each other in constructing tall buildings.” (Bukhari)

Asalaamu alaykum (peace be upon you)

There are plenty of Prophecies to prove that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is really a Messenger from God who told future events clearly. One Prophecy which is coming true within this decade is his saying (meaning):
    .
“The Hour (of Judgment Day) will not approach until the desert Arab shepherds compete with each other in constructing tall buildings.”
(Sahih al Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 88, Hadith 237)
    .
Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world (in the United Arab Emirates), built by a man (Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum) who was a desert camel shepherd in his childhood. Exactly as Prophecised over 1,400years ago by Muhammad, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him.)

NOTE: If in doubt about whether Nostradamous and other astrologers were as accurate as the Messenger of God, Muhammad (peace be upon him) – then simply take a look at how vague Nostradamous’s statements are and how much they are distorted by his followers to mean peculiar things.
On the other hand, the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are as clear as daylight in wording, meaning and even imagery.
